Sanctions against Russia are an own goal. While Germany has a negative trade balance with an import surplus for the first time since 1990, Russia’s trade balance continues to rise, mainly due to the sale of raw materials and higher prices. Euro vs. ruble soon in decline?

What happens if Russia cuts oil exports in addition to gas? Result would be a further price increase and thus the price of gasoline would exceed the region of 5 euros / liter. It is a pity that Russian shares are no longer tradable.
